Eric Thongren mix, with less guitar. The track is also featured
on the 7" & CD single.
'The Alamo' style guitar on the 'Extended Mix' was recorded by engineer
Robin Hancock.
NOT Trivia:
'USLS 1' was inspired by the fact John & Nora were booked onto
the doomed PanAM 103 flight from Heathrow to New York that exploded
over Lockerbie, Scotland in December 1988; killing nearly 300 people.
John & Nora only missed the flight as they were running late...
It would be several years after the tragedy before John revealed
what might have been...
Trivia:
The 12" extended mix featured samples from the Dustin Hoffman
film 'Little Big Man'.
Lu Edmonds, who had left
the band by the recording of '9', receives a co-credit on both tracks,
but does not play on them.
A promo video was shot
for the single. Directed by Mick Haggerty. |

Quotes:
'Warrior' came about from a chance meeting with Nellee Hooper, who
suggested I worked with Dave Dorrell on a remix. It was just me
trying to do something a bit different...
